Laurent: "I had heard all sorts of stories about tattooing, that is was extremely painful, a real torture. So when I went to see my tattooist -it was at a fair in Tahiti in December 2003- I just requested the turtle for a start. No risks, it wasn’t too big, just in case...
It took only 45 minutes. I was surprised that the pain wasn’t as I dreaded.

After it was completely healed up, I went back to complete the job.
