How Long it Took: a few days on and off
What it Represents for Me : I was travelling around the world in 1989. I started off from America, then went to Tahiti, then Moorea. I was staying at Les Tipaniers on Moorea and met Chime on
the beach. My wrist tattoo was done on the beach, with three sewing needles tied together. Chime did not speak English very well, but what I got from it was,
- the black triangles: sharks teeth for protection,
- the >>>> signs: ferns? The woman and man- yin-yang,
- the double triangle on the inside of my wrist: Mana (see next photo)
The circle with the dot in the centre is my personal symbol, which Chime incorporated into the
design, and represents the sun, and alchemical gold.
