Bob: I mainly liked the design and wanted to get something while i was in hawaii because who knows if ill ever be back.
I basically found the tattoo in their shop and liked the design.  He said he could see some representation of family and two turtles in the tattoo.
I was wondering if you could give me some explanation of the meaning by any chance.

Phil (admin): The main shape of the tattoo is a sun, symbol of life energy and success. Its rays being shaped as little triangles, which is the way shark teeth are usually represented, it is a symbol of strength, courage and protection.
The turtles symbolize long life and fertility.
