In 1991 Raniero opened the Acchiappasogni studio.
His walk in the tattoo world went together with the study of the shamanism and cosmologies of the whole world with particular attention to the Bonpo culture of Central Asia and to the Polynesian culture.
The human body derives from a millennial evolution in relationship to the physical environment - Nature.
A long time ago our
Ancestors have established a strong bond with the forces of the natural world. They directly took water from the rivers, firewood to heat the houses and to cook on the fire, a small piece of ground to grow plants. The seasonal rain assured water for the whole year.
Nature didn't come protected and guarded in parks or held on windowsill. There was a direct relationship between their life and fire, wood, water and weather. The movement of the constellations gave a concrete help in
cultivation and in navigation.
That relationship, that dependence brought to understand that the natural world is sacred and populated of beings and forces, visible and invisible; a relationship that unfortunately we are losing and we will continue to lose if we don't start realizing that this contact with the elements helps us understand our true Nature... |
